Ladislav "Laddy" Kremer, 93, of Simsbury, CT and formerly of Wantagh, New York passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 21, 2015 in Granby, CT. He was born in Maratice, Czechoslovakia on March 26, 1921, son of the late Louis Kremer and Anna (Genera) Kremer. He came to the United States on September 20, 1930. He was raised in Yorkville and the Bronx, NY. He graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School in June 1940. Laddy started working at Sperry Corporation in Lake Success, NY in 1941. He was inducted into the Army Air Force August 16, 1943 where he was gunnery instructor. He was discharged as a Corporal on March 11, 1946. While in the service he married his wife Anne Kremer on January 13, 1945. Together they made their home in Wantagh for most of their married lives. Laddy worked for Sperry for 42 years and retired in 1983. He was an active member of the Masons, Suburbia Lodge, No. 1152, joining November 28, 1956. He served as the Master in 1967. When they disbanded, he joined Wantagh Morton Lodge #63. Laddy also served as Worthy Patron while his wife Anne was Worthy Matron of Neptune Chapter #847, Order of the Eastern Star in 1975. In his spare time Laddy enjoyed: fishing, hunting, repairing and building things, bowling, golf, and playing Bridge and Pinochle with family and friends. He leaves behind a son, Richard Kremer and his wife Sandra of Simsbury, CT; a daughter, Margaret "Peggy" Kremer of Highland, NY; three grandchildren: Thomas Kremer and his wife Courtney of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Pamela Celentano and her husband Daniel of Winsted, CT, and Richard T. Kremer of Wethersfield, CT; and four great-grandchildren, Jackson, Caroline, and Pierson Kremer, and Matthew Celentano. Laddy was predeceased by his wife Anne.
