Laurence Z. Cohen, 83, of East Windsor, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Hartford Hospital. He was born March 28, 1931 in Chicopee, MA to the late Peter and Lena (Steinberg) Cohen, and brother to the late Gerald S. Cohen of Agawam, MA. Laurence served his country honorably during the Korean War as an officer in the US Navy. He is survived by his nephews, Jonathan, Eric and James Cohen. Military honors will be rendered on Tuesday, March 31, 10 a.m. in the Chapel at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam, MA.
