Nancy L. Harris-Baver, 60, of Windsor, CT was called home by God on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 10:20pm at Hartford Hospital. She is survived by her mother, Eleanor (Reimer) Harris, sister, Gail LaPierre, brother, Brian Harris and his wife, Emily, daughter, Julie White and her husband, Jeremey, sons, Brian and Harvey Baver, grandchildren, Emma and Lucas White, nephews, Grant, Carter, Drew and Jackson Harris, cousins, friends and many unofficially adopted children. Nancy was born on December 6, 1956 in Chicopee, MA to Eleanor and the late Russel Harris. She was the 3rd of 4 children (Gail, Brian and the late Mark Harris). Nancy grew up in Windsor, CT graduating from Windsor High and met her future husband at the age of 14. She married Allan Baver on April 22, 1978. They began their life together in Bloomfield, CT, but spent a majority of their 32 years in Windsor. She held various jobs throughout her life, but none that gave her more joy and satisfaction than being a stay at home mom. After her children had grown and after putting herself through school, she found a new passion as a phlebotomist. Nancy loved her family and was loved by all that were fortunate enough to know her. No matter what, she always gave her complete self. How do you say goodbye to a woman that is thoughtful, emotionally transparent, sweet, kind, silly, great, loving, caring, friendly, selfless, amazing, compassionate, honest, helpful, intelligent, empathetic, affectionate, witty, reliable, accepting, humble, supportive, giving, tolerant, candid, understanding, devoted and an amazing mother and grandma….. We will always love you Nancy and miss you more than you will ever know. "In my Father's house are many mansions…I go to prepare a place for you." John 14:2 NKJV Her family will receive loved ones and friends Wednesday, June 21, at Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave, Windsor from 4 pm until 6 pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 22 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Carmon Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Palisado Cemetery next to her brother Mark and father Russell.
