Terrence A. Hall, 88, of Hartford, beloved husband of the late Loetta Hall, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Jamaica, W.I. to the late Charles Augustas Hall and Ethel Alberta (Rose) Hall, he has been a Hartford resident for almost 50 years. Terrence was a member of the Asylum Avenue Baptist Church where he was an honorary life deacon. He worked as a machinist at Pratt & Whitney for many years and was very involved with his church, but his true passion was his family. He is survived by his sons, Leroy Hylton and his wife Judy of Bloomfield, Dwight Hall of Windsor, Kadian Hall and his wife Gladys of Windsor; his daughter Yvonne Sylvia and her husband Nelson of Windsor; his sisters, Christine Taylor, Thelma "Sis" Hall, Zeta "Pinnie" Dwyer and her significant other, D'Arcy Dwyer, Cecelyn "Sissy" Samuels; his grandchildren, Tinesha Hall, Nicholas Hylton, Rashani Hall, Chelsea Hall, Ashanti Hall and Kadian Hall Jr.; his great-grandchild Marley Swaby; and a host of extended family members including nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in law, and friends. Besides his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his daughter Keicha Hall, his brothers Noel Hall and Harris Hall, and his sister Priscilla "Duncie" Hall. A homegoing service will be held 6 PM on Wednesday, June 21 at The Lodge Community Chapel, 130 Deerfield Rd Windsor. His family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday from 5 PM to 6 PM. Burial will be in Jamaica at a later date.
