WING. William Paul Wing, 91, of Suffield, beloved husband of the late Harriet (Chase) Wing passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018 at the Suffield House. Born November 20, 1926 in Holyoke, MA son of the late George and Hannie (Muzzey) Wing, he grew up in Holyoke before moving to Suffield 50 years ago. Before retiring, he was employed by United Technologies as an engineer for many years. He had a great love for airplanes and was a HAM radio operator and had made many contacts all over the world through radio, he also grew fruit tree’s on his property in Suffield. He is survived by a brother, Richard V. Wing and his wife, Mary of Newton, MA; a sister, Alice Henderson of Holyoke, MA; his nieces and nephews, Michael Wing and his wife, Katherine, George Wing and his wife, Jennifer, Monica Wing, Dora Campbell, Cheryl Tarczynski. His family will receive friends Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 10-11 AM at Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East St. N. (Rt. 159), Suffield followed by funeral service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forestdale Cemetery, Holyoke, MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Second Baptist Church, 100 N. Main St., Suffield, CT 06078.
