Zigmund "Ziggie" P. Gladczak, 66, of New Britain, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at his home. Born in Germany to the late Edmund and Mary (Grden) Gladczak, he served his country proudly with the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and worked for the US Postal Service. He is survived by his daughter Tracy Dumont; his two granddaughters; his three great-grandchildren; his sisters Irene Bowers and Christine Czwal and their families; his best friend and caregiver Caroll; and his beloved and loyal dog Maddy. A graveside service will be held at 1 PM Thursday, April 2 at Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. For online condolences please visit www.carmonfuneralhome.com
